THE MAIN BRIDGE

The Main Bridge, is in Isabel la Catolica Avenue. It connects the centre of the city with the Victoria neightborhood. The legend of this bridge  is this :
Mahomed, the slave of the Count Ansurez, was in love with Zaida, the slave of the Countess Eylo. The Counts didn't look very well this relationship. When the Count was travelling, the Countess  Eylo ordered to build the bridge . Mahomed built the bridge  to settle the counts. So he could get married with Zaida.  The Count  Ansurez  didn´t  like it , and ordered to a traveller to make the bridge bigger . The traveller was the Duke of Llobregat, and when the bridge was finished the Duke got married with Zaida.
